Mammillaria heyderi is USA native. It is simple-looking plant, in nature growing flat with the ground. Early spring that in the wild happens as early as February is the flowering time.

Stenocactus albatus
This is a 2x close-up of Stenocactus albatus flower.
Taking pictures at higher magnification becomes elaborate - the very shallow depth of field requires taking several shots, scanning the subject with the focal plane, and then reassembling them into a single image using post-processing software. This image is a superposition of 6 shots, needed to accommodate the stigma lobes depth.
