This is the 'proper' pacificus, very spiny plants with red flowers. The other 'pacificus' I have is Meas Garden 223.7 catalog number, very different plant, likely undescribed new species.

Echinocereus coccinneus hybrid

This is a wild mix of genes of E.coccinneus, E.dasiacanthis and probably E.fendlerii, supplying the pink hues to the spectrum.
